CALL TO ARTISTS:

CCA GALLERIES INTERNATIONAL INVITE ARTISTS TO ENTER THE JERSEY SUMMER EXHIBITION 2019

CCA Galleries International invite visual artists to apply to the third Jersey Summer Exhibition. The exhibition is based on the successful model at the Royal Academy every summer – exhibits are selected by a panel of professional artists and critics and shown in a group selling exhibition. As well as exhibiting at a prestigious, international gallery, being selected for CCAI Summer Exhibition is expected to help launch the careers of promising Jersey artists, as well as enforcing that of those already established. All work is for sale and will be hung, lit and curated by CCA Galleries Int.

The Jersey Summer Exhibition developed through a growing appetite for high quality, curated visual art in Jersey. The exhibition launched in 2017, with over 120 artists applying to take part and on both years over a third of the exhibited work sold, to collectors from Ireland, Scotland and the UK as well as to enthusiastic locals.

The application deadline is Tuesday 12 March . All entries must be submitted digitally via the website, artists can enter up to five pieces at £15 per artwork. Please ensure you follow the online entry process to the very end where you will be issued a pro-forma invoice. If you do not complete the last stage, your entry will be lost. All fees should be paid directly to the Gallery by card, cheque or cash - we can accept payment over the telephone. Application fees cannot be made through the website. All information, application form, terms and conditions will be added to this page by the end of January.

If an artist’s work is selected to the next stage, they will be asked to submit actual work for the final judging process on 19 April . If the work is chosen at the final stage, it will be exhibited and for sale in the CCAI Summer Exhibition 2019 at the Gallery from 13 June – 25 July .

All visual art forms are welcome, including original prints, paintings, drawings, architecture, sculpture, film and photography . If your work is selected for the exhibition, CCA Galleries International offer advice on framing and pricing as needed.

Gallery Director, Sasha Gibb says ‘10 Hill Street is a fantastic gallery for contemporary art and I’m looking forward to discovering more home grown talent to fill it. After a very successful two years, we’re delighted to be working with Channel Island artists once again and to be taking their work to a new audience.
