SIR PETER BLAKE

Earlier this year CCA Galleries launched a new triptych edition by Peter Blake. Published by CCA Galleries and printed at Worton Hall Studios, Marilyn is Marilyn is Marilyn consists of three stunning silkscreens printed on gold mirri board and presented in an archival box with a colophon and title page.

The ‘Godfather of Pop Art’ as he is often referred, has depicted Marilyn Monroe numerous times in his work throughout his career. These three striking prints, each with their own personality, see Blake portray the many faces of the icon in a different way, employing his signature watercolour and collage styles.

BRUCE MCLEAN

Bruce Mclean’s most recent series of prints are part of an ongoing body of work that sees the artist present structured compositions of still-life scenes which feature ceramic objects he has created. This invites the viewer to consider encountering the same subject matter in print or paint and in sculpture. The new editions also incorporate elements of flora as seen in his much-loved garden-inspired works.

The four new colourways in pink, green, blue and orange follow his silkscreens A Vase of Arranged Flowers in a Wild Garden - Yellow and A Vase of Arranged Flowers in a Wild Garden - Olive which were made to mark the artist's 80th birthday as well as the 10th anniversary of Worton Hall Studios.

KAY LE SEELLEUR ARA

Earlier this year CCA Galleries International published three original fine art limited edition prints with Jersey based artist, Kay Le Seelleur Ara. The prints were launched at the 2025 London Original Print Fair at Somerset House. Titled Whip Crack AwayPoor Frida and You Promised No DogKay’s idiosyncratic paintings are wonderfully translated into print with two silkscreens and a lithograph. These vibrant works are accompanied by quirky titles that can be witty, silly, naughty, thoughtful or edgy, sometimes referring to contemporary politics, histories of art, everyday occurrences or the people and animals that share Kay’s life.
