Graham is known for his textured, atmospheric landscapes of Jersey, France and the South of England.
'Outlook Uncertain' is usually used as a meteorological term, but on reflection, I now find it applies to a lot of things in this 'uncertain' world. My work for this exhibition centres on the L'Etacq area of St Ouen's Bay, although the small oils show wider aspects of the island. explains Graham. CCA GALLERIES INTERNATIONAL is delighted to present 'Transcendentia' by Wayne Audrain.
Leonardo da Vinci used silver point in 14th Century. Wayne Audrain's previous work in pen and ink and etching has developed into using the medium on unprimed timber painted with black gesso. This incredibly quiet and contemplative body of work, has recently returned to Jersey from an exhibition in the Vatican and has developed from the 14 Stations of the Cross.
CCA GALLERIES INTERNATIONAL is delighted to present an exhibition of original prints by renowned Jersey artist Maurice Boots.
An exhibition of previously unseen original prints by the late Maurice Boots. Well known for his work as the States Architect in the early 50s, Maurice began to work in oils, pen and ink, before discovering a passion for etching after studying under Dolf Rieser in the early 80s.His meticulous, abstract prints, many in their original frames are of their time, yet still surprising brave.
Maurice Boots died in 2012. He was an extremely well liked and respected local figure – he was the Chief Architect
