Q & A with SARA BERMAN & STORM STUDIOS: Get ready to dive deep with Sara Berman and Storm Studios in a Q&A session you won’t want to miss.
The works were selected by a panel led by CCA judges Gillian Duke (managing director) and Tom Parker, who were joined this year by the directors of StormStudios – Dan Abbott, Peter Curzon and Rupert Truman – and London-based artist Sara Berman.
Founded by the late Storm Thorgerson, StormStudios is known for creating some of the most recognisable album artwork in music history, including work for Pink Floyd, Muse, The Cranberries and Biffy Clyro. Designer and illustrator Dan Abbott, graphic designer and art director Peter Curzon, and photographer and director Rupert Truman continue the studio’s work across music, design and exhibitions. Sara Berman, who worked for many years as a fashion designer before turning her focus to fine art, brings a distinctive perspective to the selection process.
Sara’s practice includes painting, performance and photography, and her work is exhibited internationally.
On Friday 10 July, the gallery will host a Q&A morning with the international judging panel, offering visitors the chance to hear directly about their work, practice and design approaches, as well as the selection process for the exhibition.
The session runs from 11am to 12pm, with tickets priced at £10 per person, available to purchase via Eventbrite, and includes refreshments.
